What you can send
- Text for regular conversation.
- Images that your companion can see directly. Unlike some other apps that convert images to text descriptions, your companion perceives the raw image, so they can notice details, read text in photos, and react to what they actually see.
- Voice messages that your companion listens to directly. Again, no transcription step in between. Your companion hears your voice, your tone, and your inflection.
- Links in text messages. When you send a message with a link, your companion can try to read the page before replying.
- Your music activity through Presence. Your companion can see what you’re listening to on Spotify and engage with it naturally.
- Sticky Note for a small shared note your companion keeps in view while you talk.
Link reading
If your message includes a web link, Dearest will try to read the page so your companion can respond with that page in mind. This works best for ordinary articles, posts, and public pages.- Dearest reads up to one link per message.
- If the page can’t be opened, your companion may tell you they couldn’t read it.
- Link reading is used for the current reply. If you want to discuss the page later, include the link again or quote the part you want to talk about.
Sticky Note
Sticky Note gives you a small shared note for your companion to keep in view during conversation. Use it for current plans, reminders, preferences, or something you want them to remember to do. It is not editable memory, identity, backstory, or personality. See Sticky Note for details. What your companion can send

- Images when you use the
/selfieor/wefiecommands. - Reactions to your messages, like emotes and emoji.
- Proactive messages on their own accord. Your companion can reach out to you first, and this is not scripted or on a timer but actually decided by your companion.
